A Community Partnership with the Episcopal Boston Chinese Ministry (EBCM)
Balance between Guidance and Independence
We acknowledge the unique developmental stage of adolescence. While your child may express a newfound desire for independence, we understand that the transition to self-sufficiency requires guided exploration and supportive adult presence.
As a community service program, we provide middle schoolers with tutoring and mentoring in a safe atmosphere to socialize and study. Per parents' requests, middle school participants are free to attend and leave our site at any given time. We look to give them the trust and freedom to manage their own time, hence building a good work-life balance.
Our team is trained to know how to communicate and guide them in the following areas.
Fun and Engaging Learning
We believe that learning should be enjoyable and enriching. Our experienced team utilizes innovative teaching methods and age-appropriate activities to ignite curiosity, spark critical thinking, and build confidence.
Partnering with Parents
We recognize that successful development is a collaborative effort. We maintain open communication with parents, providing regular updates on progress and partnering to navigate the challenges and triumphs of adolescence.
Investing in Growth
Our program is designed to nurture your child's full potential, preparing them for academic success and confident navigation of the social and emotional complexities of this transformative time.
Our team is extensively trained to focus on our students' physical, academic, behavioral, social, and ethical well-being.
